Irritating Project Mates! Im so angry with my project mates!Janet (fat young pig) and Chelsea Hua (chi hua hua) Attached is my conversation with them via email. How do we conclude which company we are supposed to use? We do not have much time left and we really need to have a proper discussion on this, settle on it and get things moving (as in start the project and research). Could I suggest we have a discussion (a proper one - with every one around) before this week ends? This project will require us to consume some time on research and discussion; therefore, we need to start fast.

I don't think for such a small issue requires us to discuss on a Saturday. (she was the one who suggested to meet on sats in sch library) Don't have to spend the time and effort to travel all the way to meet up and discuss on a small issue. We can do it on Friday, whereby we have class and can discuss during break time. Regarding Osim, I don't know about the rest but Chelsea and I are not familiar with their products and market. (does that means she is superb familiar with Night Safari?Why singtel & not M1?She only wants us to follow her way!) We have no confidence to be able to do as well as our previous projects if it is Osim coz we know nothing about it. I agree with Chelsea. Being out of point is the worse thing that can happen. It is almost impossible to amend everything overnight. I tried once and certainly would not want to try again. (everything is concluded by these 2 women!! We are left with no choice!)
Surely, I could not promise "a good job" (did I mention anything like that?) and am not be good enough to enlighten any one. But I can only say that I am not familiar and am not confident to do as well as previous project (well doesn't means good job. It can mean up to the standard).
Not trying to or even want to enlighten any one. I have more to learn. All I suggested are just for getting my ideas across, being accepted or not, is just another issue of each and everyone's perception and logic. I do not judge any suggestion if it is good idea or bad idea. I only give my point of view, on whether I can do it or not.
It is not that I have perceived myself that it might be difficult before I even try. For the given timeline, we cannot afford to try and change the topic when we find that it is difficult.
And my opinion is there is no point of doing something we are not familiar of and not confident of and end up spending a lot of time on research. It might be more worthwhile to spend that effort on something that is special.
Depending on individual's thinking, the goal of this assignment is either to pass it or to score for it. Chelsea and I are both going for the "score for it". Whether the assignment marks is to help student to pass the exam or to get "A", it will always be better to score. Doing a company that you are confident of is the key to scoring the point.
Regarding what we have done for previous terms, we have done on: Perfume industry, LCD TV industry, Entertainment industry (game) and Telecommunication industry.
Based on last term, groups only have ideas on physical product companies. It is up to us if we want to do something out of the box.
I have already checked with Mr. Soh, he confirmed that we can use companies other than physical product companies. As long as, the product can be marketed and the exchange process of value or something of value occurs, we can use the company.
